But when I started experiencing real health issues - insomnia, weight gain (especially around my midsection), and relentless anxiety, it hit me: my high cortisol levels were running the show.

If you’re in perimenopause or menopause, cortisol isn’t just about stress, it’s about hormone balance, energy levels, and even how your body holds onto fat (yes, that stubborn belly bloat isn’t just about food).

A fresh, herby chickpea mash on crispy toast—perfect for a quick lunch or snack!

Ingredients:
• ½ ripe avocado
• ½ cup parsley & ½ cup dill
• Juice of ½ lemon
• 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
• 1 clove garlic
• Splash of apple cider vinegar
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 3|4 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
• Toasted bread
• Tomato slices, Maldon salt, green onions, & microgreens for garnish

Instructions:

These turkey meatloaf muffins are packed with protein and loaded with hidden veggies—perfect for meal prep and hitting your goals!
Ingredients (Makes 10 Muffins)

🥩 2 lbs organic ground turkey 🥕 1 small sweet potato, roasted 🥒 1 zucchini, roasted 🍄 3 mushrooms, roasted 🧅 1 onion, roasted 🧂 2 tbsp spicy mustard 🌿 1 tbsp sage 🧂 2 tsp salt 🌶 2 tsp red pepper flakes 🍅 Sugar-free ketchup (for topping) 🫒 Spritz of olive oil

Instructions

At first, I thought matcha tasted like straight-up dirt—anyone else? 😂 But with a little zhuzhing (aka the right mix of flavors), it’s now my favorite way to start the day!

I used to drink two cups of coffee every morning, but as I hit midlife, I started noticing:

🚫 Sleep struggles, even if I stopped drinking coffee early

That’s when I made the switch to matcha, and the difference has been incredible.

This means matcha keeps you alert, but also relaxed and focused—without the anxious, wired feeling coffee can bring.

The Perfect Crafted Matcha (Makes 1)

✅ 1 tsp ceremonial grade matcha
✅ 1 scoop unflavored bone broth protein
✅ ½ scoop vanilla protein powder
✅ ¼ tsp MCT oil
✅ Pinch of high-quality salt
