Prioritizing Sleep > Getting a Workout In

Hot take: prioritizing sleep can be more important than getting a workout in.



Now let me explain.


Let’s say in order to work out, you have to wake up super early to get it in for the day, but that leaves you with only getting 4-5 hours of sleep instead of 6-7 hours.


In this situation, I would say it’s more beneficial to sleep in and get the extra rest. If you sacrifice sleep for that workout, you will…

  • be exhausted all day

  • have a bad recovery from your workout

  • have increased hunger cues due to lack of sleep


None of which are ideal for your health and fitness goals.


Because if you’re not getting enough sleep at night AND not getting quality sleep in, it’s time for a change.


Luckily for you, I have a few adaptogen supplements that I love to use that have helped me up my sleep game.
